Private Spanish Classes Start Tuesday August 5!!
My name is Jenna Dyer. I am a Spanish major at Tennessee Tech University, planning to graduate in December 2014. I have not only studied at the university level, but have also had the opportunity to practice and study the language in Alicante, Spain and San José, Costa Rica. I have 6 months of experience living abroad in Spanish speaking countries where I attended intensive language schools in order to improve my ability to speak the Spanish language. I was the President of the Spanish club at Tennessee Tech during the last school year, and was chosen by the Foreign Language department to be the department Spanish tutor, as well as, provided private lessons in the local area.
CLASS INFORMATION:
Length of program: 6 weeks
Start: CLASSES COMING SOON
When: Tues & Thurs 4:00-4:30
Cost: $75 with a $10 supply fee.
Each lesson will be interactive, engaging students in games, songs, or other group activities to make learning fun and exciting. Teaching methods and objectives for the class will be adjusted depending on the learning level and capabilities of the students.
In the beginner level classes, students will learn basic vocabulary,
including the alphabet, numbers, and colors, as well as, everyday phrases. Ideal goals for the 6-week program include students being able to count to 30, recite the alphabet, say where they are from and introduce themselves to others.
